Acts 19

The Holy Spirit living inside us, “should,” show a radical change in our walk as Christians. With christ as our source, we walk not in our own strength but the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of us, radiates Jesus inside of us. However, we must guard our hearts and strive daily.

Colossians 2:6-7

6 And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. 7 Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.

How to Remain Radical?

  1. Be bold ( Acts 19:8)
  2. Break off relationships with those who openly reject Christ (Acts 19:9-10)
  3. Move from sin (Acts 19:18-20)

In this weeks sermon, we learn key principals to believe, live and share the gospel in a radical way. We must be bold in sharing the gospel to those around us. As we live out our lives as Christians the Holy Spirit is visible in our walk to those around us. Moreover, we are changed from the inside out, the old things are passed away and new has come. Thus, bad company corrupt good morals. We can’t continue to dwell with those that openly oppose Jesus and we can’t continue to be ruled by sin.

Key Points:

  1. We must keep our eyes on Jesus.
  2. We must be constant in prayer.
  3. We must treasure His word in our hearts.
  4. We must stay in biblical community.
  5. We must keep asking to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

The more time you spend in these areas, the stronger your walk with Jesus will be.
