It’s Time
Leviticus 7
Pastor Valentine | 11.24.24
As a church, where are we? Where are we going? Our prayer is that we are following God and leading the community to do the same. Just as the church in Acts, we must accept the call. Just as Peter answered Jesus, we must feed the sheep. We hope we are equipping you to do just that.
Today, Pastor Valentine gives us key points to strengthen our walk and walk out the love that we have for God and his people.
If you love me feed my sheep.
John 21:15-17 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” he told him. A second time he asked him, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” “Yes, Lord,” he said to him, “you know that I love you.” “Shepherd my sheep,” he told him. He asked him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved hat he asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord you know everything; you know that I love you.” Feed my sheep,” Jesus said.
Well Feed Sheep
- Know the position of Jesus. (Hebrews 4:14-16) Jesus is the Great High Priest. He does great things. Our savior passed through the Heavens and disarmed Satan, death and Sin.
- See His perfection. (Hebrews 4:15) Jesus was tempted in everyday and yet without sin.
- Know His provision. ( Hebrews 4:16) Jesus has equipped us to approach the throne with boldness. How did he equip you, He took the shame and guilt from sin that should condemn us. He was the sin offering for us all. We can approach God bold and freely to speak with Him.
Mercy and Grace
There should be no shame and condemnation for He died for it. You can come to the throne boldly because of Grace and Mercy. We have not received what we deserve because of mercy. So when you come to God boldly, and then receive the grace to cover your future.
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
